As a natural part of our business relationship it is necessary to gather information about our clients and prospective clients.
We do not sell this information to any party nor do we disclose such data to any party who is not acting as an agent, employee or
representative of CommLog. CommLog is committed to the fourth amendment right to privacy enumerated in the Constitution of the United
States. For this reason we provide the highest level of protection for our customers, at our disposal.
In the course of business -- whether retail, consultation, service and support, or custom software production -- it is necessary
to collect the name and primary business address of our clients. In addition a personal address may be required if a personal check
or bank card is used as an instrument of payment. Contacts representing a client may be required to provide a phone number, email
address, fax number or other primary contact
information including Tax ID numbers or State Identification numbers. If a contact representing a client so chooses he or she is of
course entitled to provide a personal address or other contact information not required by CommLog, CommLog reserves the right to
capture that information for business purposes.
No third party will ever be granted access to any personal information collected by CommLog, unless that third party is acting
as a Service Vendor providing CommLog with Data Services, a subcontractor operating on behalf of CommLog, an officer of the court
acting on behalf of any party to an action involving CommLog, or a licensed Peace Officer currently employed in the United States
and acting in accordance with an order issued by
a court of competent jurisdiction, specifically delineating those data to be conveyed to law enforcement.
In order to protect all of our clients no client will be granted access to confidential
data or records maintained by CommLog. If a client wishes to review the personal data maintained by CommLog, the only recourse to
do so is to request in writing a list of specific data that may be of concern to the client or contact and CommLog will
provide those data for correction or amendment.
CommLog may at its discretion or in order to comply with the COPPA change the terms of this written policy. If the client has
any concerns regarding this policy or any changes,
it is the responsibility of the client to review this written policy periodically.
This Policy is effective as of January 1, 2004. |
